Sentret Plush

I do distinctly remember getting this Sentret! As a kid, I got strep throat pretty often. There used to be a shot you could get to treat the infection, instead of having to take a week of nasty antibiotics. (As of right now, that shot is no longer available, though I'm not sure why. That's a gap in my pharmacy school knowledge.) Anyway, this one time I had strep throat, my mom told me if I just got the shot she'd buy me a toy after. And that toy was Sentret!

Sentret is one of my most beloved Gen 2 pokémon, though I'm not really sure if that's why I got the plush, or because I got this plush. Either way, it still has a special place in my heart.
